EXAMPLE SITE / Skincare sold direct to customers: short-formula cleanser, serums, moisturizers and a mineral SPF

Aubrell — a site for a skincare brand selling direct

A direct-to-customer skincare shop that builds you a routine, prints every ingredient and puts the subscription's skip and pause buttons in plain sight.

01 / The problem

What visitors need

People buying skincare online have been oversold for years: miracle claims, twelve-step routines and subscriptions that are easy to start and hard to stop. A small brand selling direct has to win the second order without any of that.

02 / The design

How it looks

We set the shop like a formulator's sample card: four quiz questions that each change the answer, a routine with one honest sentence per product, product sheets with the full ingredient list and what each product won't do, and savings itemised line by line.

03 / Good for

Who it suits

A complete fictional skincare brand: the quiz builds three to five products and holds back retinal for reactive skin, the bag's cadence is suggested from the bottle that runs out first, checkout validates every field, and the confirmation's skip and pause move the next delivery date.

DESIGN CHOICES

Three choices that shape the site.

01

Porcelain lab card

A warm porcelain page set like a formulator's sample card: a calm serif for headlines, every percentage, pH and delivery date in mono, and plain frosted bottles drawn on a stone plinth.

02

A routine that explains itself

Four questions build a morning and evening order with one sentence per product saying why it's there, and the quiz leaves retinal out when skin reacts often.

03

A subscription you can leave

Cadence suggested from the bottle that runs out first, the bundle and subscribe savings shown line by line, and a confirmation whose skip and pause buttons actually move the next delivery date.
