Weddings and events
Start with your date.
We take three weddings on a Saturday, two on a Friday or Sunday and one on a weekday, so we can be at every one of them. Full service needs eight weeks' notice; most couples book nine to fourteen months ahead.

Hold the date
Check the calendar, build the pieces, see the estimate and hold it with $500. Or book a free half hour first.
Within a week
Consultation and proposal
Thirty minutes at the studio or on video, then a proposal naming every stem, with a mood board. Sign it and pay 30%; the $500 counts.
Six weeks before
Final counts
Guest and table numbers, the timeline and the floor plan. Over $6,000, a mock-up of the bridal bouquet in the studio.
The week of
Market and conditioning
We buy at the wholesale market and from local farms on Tuesday, and condition everything for two days so it opens on time.
The day
Delivery, setup, the flip, breakdown
Personal flowers delivered first, then the ceremony, the move to the reception and breakdown the same night.
Everyday flowers
From the studio cooler, Tuesday to Saturday.
A short edit made from what's left after the week's weddings. Delivered across Philadelphia in two windows; same-day afternoon delivery if you order by 11 am.
Market wrap
Loose stems wrapped in paper, whatever is best that morning. Tulips from January to April.

The studio
A former garage on Frankford Avenue.
Nell Quenby started the studio in 2016 after eight years buying for a Center City hotel. Ada Ruiz leads installations and the crew that rigs them. We do about sixty weddings a year, no more, and grow some of our own on a quarter-acre plot in Kensington.

Do you have a minimum?
Yes: $5,000 on Saturdays in May, June, September and October; $4,000 on other Saturdays and on Fridays or Sundays in those months; $3,000 otherwise. Flowers plus delivery and setup, before tax.
How far ahead should we book?
Nine to fourteen months for a peak Saturday. We take inquiries up to eighteen months out and need eight weeks for full service.
Can we choose exact flowers?
Tell us what you love and we'll build around it. We'll always say when something is out of season and what grows locally that looks the same.
What happens to the flowers after?
Ceremony pieces move to the reception. At breakdown we can bundle arrangements for guests, or take them to a hospice in Northern Liberties that we work with.
