A wide spun-aluminium shade turned in at the rim, on a slender stem and a weighted base. Fold throws a low pool of warm light across a table and keeps the bulb out of sight.

Care
Wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Disconnect before cleaning. The E14 LED is replaceable, maximum 6 W. Indoor use only.
Delivery and returns
Packed in recycled pulp and sent from Glasgow. Standard UK delivery is £8, or free over £300; express is £18. Return anything unused within 30 days.

Anatomy of Fold 01
Spun shade
One sheet of aluminium spun over a wooden form, then powder-coated by hand in a satin finish.
The fold
A 4 mm roll at the edge stiffens the shade and gives the lamp its name. It also hides the light source from a seated eye.
Turned stem
Tapers from 24 to 21 mm and carries the cable inside, so nothing interrupts the line.
Weighted base
A cast-iron core under the coated shell keeps the lamp steady. Felt-lined underneath.
In-line dimmer
A soft rotary dimmer on the woven cable, coloured to match each finish.
After dark
A pool of light,
not a glare.
The opal diffuser sits above the fold, so the bulb stays hidden and 2700 K light falls on the table, not in your eyes. Turn the dimmer down for the last hour of the evening.
